Understanding our emotional and spiritual selves
We all live in the physical world, and I do believe in that old saying or adage “as within, so without,” whatever is happening on the inside will reflect on the outside. It is why it’s also important that you have a healthy emotional and spiritual aspect.
Tip#1: Learn to Forgive
I don’t want to be sound corny, and I’m also not going to preach you everything about forgiveness, but here’s the thing, when you forgive, you let yourself free. Free from hatred, free from stress, free from worry, free from anger and most importantly free from health disorders.
I’m sure you may have heard the saying where, if you don’t know how to forgive others, it’s like you drank a bottle of poison and expected your enemies to die. The main point here is that if you don’t learn to let go at some point, you’ll only kill your inner self, which will then reflect physically. You’ll be more vulnerable to heart diseases, mental illnesses, and the likes. Accept the fact that nobody is perfect, not every day is a great day, and you are also a sinner. You have made so many mistakes as well, so quit trying to be bitter about everything around you, let go and let God.
Tip #2: Learn to Giving Back
When you give back, you do not only develop a healthy emotional and spiritual aspect, and you also develop an abundance mindset. When I say give back, I don’t only mean that you donate to charities, I also mean to give your time and talent to others. Take the time to teach, take the time to talk to people who may or may not need it. Give back and the world will give it back to you tenfold.
Tip #3: Learn to Reach Out and Nurture Relationships
Life is but relationships, if you don’t reach out to people especially your friends and family, you’ll be miserable! You will feel empty inside, and no matter what you do or how busy you think you are, nothing will replace the feeling of worthiness that you only get out of relationships.
If you want to live a healthy and happy lifestyle, give time to people – that’s it.
If you do not give the time to build relationships especially to your family, you will never be happy. Like sticking to a diet or accomplishing goals, you need time to spend it with the people who love you and care about you.
