Now that you know the things you need to focus on in every aspect of your life, you need also to know the things that could hinder or stop you from achieving that happy and healthy lifestyle you’ve dreamed of. Be sure to avoid these traps, and if ever you do fall for it, don’t beat yourself up, instead learn from your mistakes and try again that’s how you’ll get better!

Trap# 1: Stressful Life

Stress causes a lot of diseases; numerous researchers had proven that already. Sometimes, stress is all in your head, don’t fall for it. You just have to drive yourself towards positivity so you can handle things much easier. The gratitude attitude will make you have a peaceful mind, healthy relationships, and a constructive lifestyle. Be thankful for all the things that are happening, no matter how bad or good, no matter how hard or easy.

Trap#2: Crazy House

Another way to keep yourself happy is to work in a tidy environment. A clean house will make you stay injury-free, and also subtract one item in your to-do list. Ask your children to keep their toys inside their room and ask you other family members as well to help you clean up and finish chores. A clean house reflects a calm and controlled inner self.

Trap#3: Family Dramas

You mingle with different people who have different personalities and sometimes, they can’t help but crack an annoying comment on you. During family and friendship reunions, you get to spend time with people whom you have not seen for quite some time. These may or may not get under your skin, but try your best not to let it affect your well-being. Listen to it and let it go. There is no room for anxiety inside of you. Families fight and make peace, it’s part of life, don’t let it stop you from being happy.

Trap#4: Lots of Unnecessary Responsibilities

Keep things simple. Learn to say ‘no’ when you have many commitments at the moment. Do not accept everything; otherwise, stress will take its toll on you. Know your priorities at work and even at home. Learn to delegate tasks if you need to, so that everything will not fall on your shoulders and be able to focus on the most important things. You don’t need to be the only one doing all the preparations, and your kids will surely want to help you, sometimes you just need to trust them.

Trap#5: The Simultaneous Chronicles

Mothers and women, in general, are very good at this; we tend to think we are superwomen who can do everything at the same time. We are great in multi-tasking but the worst in self – relaxing. You may find yourself juggling family obligations, working long hours, and attend social events day after day and forget to set aside time for yourself. Breathe in and breathe out! Step back and learn to have some ‘me’ time.
