Mental health is most often goes hand in hand with your physical health. As what other people say, the real battle is always in mind, so I’ll give you just three simple tips on how to hack your mind so that you can be mentally healthy inside out.

Tip#1: Write It Down

Mental health is all about the mindset, and the only disclaimer is if you don’t have the proper mindset, no matter what physical activity you want to do will eventually fail. For example, eating healthy foods or exercising regularly is not that easy to do right? So here’s my advice, write down your goal of eating nutritious meals or exercising a couple of minutes a day. Just write it down in one sentence. Then read it every day when you wake up and before you go to bed at night. Show it to your friends and family, and it will be better if you provide them a copy. Once you start doing this, you will have a better mindset because of the fact that you have a written goal and you don’t need to remind yourself every day of it – because it’s on a piece of paper. Research shows that if you write down your goals, you are most likely to remember it.

Tip #2: Meditate

According to different researches, meditation is very helpful in calming one’s mind and staying in focus. If you learn how to meditate and concentrate only on the things that truly matter, you will be more likely to focus on the positive aspect of your life. What you focus on grows, and through meditation you are training your mind to be still and focus on the most important things. Try to do yoga or just go to YouTube or enroll in an online course and also do it at least every day, a few minutes will do.

Tip #3: Be Grateful

Last but not least is the power of gratitude, if you know how to give thanks, even for the smallest things, your mind will be trained to appreciate the things that are good around you. You will also have a better outlook on life. Being grateful is a sign that you have a mentally healthy mind and being, it’s very important that you learn how not to take things for granted. Take a few seconds to step back no matter how busy your life may be, and appreciate the things around you.
